Are the products on your online store brand new?

All the products on our online store are brand new, we do not buy, sell, or use second hand products under any circumstances.

How do I place an order in your online store?

  1. Browsing: Browse through our products using categories, search bar, or filters to find the product you wish to buy.
  2. Product Selection: Click on the product you’re interested in to view its details, specifications, images, reviews to ensure it meets your requirements.
  3. Add to Cart: Once you’ve decided to purchase the product, click on the “Add to Cart” button. This action places the item into your virtual shopping basket.
  4. Review Cart: Navigate to your shopping cart or click on the “View Cart” button to review the items you’ve added. Here, you can adjust quantities, remove items, or continue shopping.
  5. Checkout: When you’re ready to proceed with your purchase, click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button. You will be prompted to log in to your account or proceed as a guest.
  6. Shipping Information: Provide the shipping address where you want the product to be delivered. Ensure that all information is accurate to avoid shipping delays or errors.
  7. Payment: Select a payment method (credit/debit card, etc.) and enter the required information securely.
  8. Review Order: Review your order summary, including the product(s) selected, shipping address, and total cost, to ensure accuracy before finalizing the purchase.
  9. Place Order: Once you’re satisfied with the order details, confirm your purchase by clicking on the “Place Order” button. This action completes the transaction.
  10. Confirmation: After placing the order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email confirming your purchase. This will include an order number for reference.
  11. Delivery and Receipt: Await the delivery of your product at the specified shipping address. Upon receiving the item, inspect it for any damage and ensure that it matches the description on the website.

 

Can I get assistance with choosing the right components?

If you have any questions in relation to choosing the correct components you can contact us by using the Online Chat during open hours, completing the “Contact Us” form on the “Contact Us” page or by emailing us at info@itrevamp.com.

Are the Custom Pc’s compatible with popular software applications?

All our Custom-Built Pc’s are compatible with popular software applications. We can also design and custom build a Pc for your specific requirements.

Can orders be cancelled?

Orders can be cancelled up until we have processed and prepared your order for delivery. Please contact us without delay and where possible our customer service team will cancel your order and refund your payment.

As a consumer, and you have received your order, you are entitled to a 14-day cooling off period in which you can return the order.

What if the product isn’t in stock?

If one of the products you have ordered is not in stock, we will let you know as soon as possible via e-mail. Your choices will be to:

  1. Remove the out-of-stock item(s) and ship the remaining item(s).
  2. Dispatch the in-stock items(s) and ship the outstanding item(s) as soon as they become available.
  3. Source an alternative similar, or better product.
  4. Cancel the entire order.

We will only proceed with your order when we receive your written permission, via return e-mail.

What if I can’t find what I am looking for on the website?

If you are looking for a specific product and can’t find it on our website, please complete our “Contact Us” form and we will try to source the product for you from our suppliers. If we can source the product, we will contact you by e-mail with a price and a delivery date and you can let us know by return e-mail if you wish to proceed.

What if I need to add an item to my order?

If you wish to add an item to your order, you can do so up until the point of your order being dispatched. You can do so by informing us by e-mail with your order number and the product you wish to add. We will send you a reply e-mail containing a link to pay for the extra product, please note that you will not be charged extra for delivery and if the extra product increases your total order value to over €200, we will remove the cost of delivery from the cost of the additional product.

Can I use my own components for a Custom Build?

We do offer a complete Custom Pc Build service which includes using your components. Contact us at sales@itrevamp.com and we can arrange for your components to be collected, and when received we will build the system for you. Upon completion we will arrange for the system to be returned to you.

Do you offer technical support for products and Custom-Built Pc’s purchased in the online store?

We do offer technical support for all the products we offer on our online store. You can contact support through our online chat, by completing our “Support” form or emailing us at support@itrevamp.com.

Payment Options.

We accept Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa and Master Card.

Delivery Details.

Orders placed on I.T. Revamp are handled by An Post. For all orders under €200 we charge a flat delivery fee of €9.95 and offer free delivery on all orders over €200.

All orders placed before 17:00 Monday – Friday will be processed the same day and delivered within 4 – 5 working days for all components (provided all items are in stock), and up to 14 working days for a Computer System. All orders placed after 15:00, during the weekend or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. An Post will deliver between 8:00 and 18:00 Monday – Friday excluding public holidays.

After your order has been dispatched you will receive an email informing you that your order has been dispatched and will contain a tracking number. To determine the status of your order, please visit https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Track/Search and enter this tracking number.

What if I change my mind after I have received my order?

As a consumer you are entitled to a 14-day cooling off period, you can return one, some or all the products included in your order without giving any reason.

As a business customer any orders placed on behalf of the business cannot be cancelled once they have been placed. An order will be deemed to be a business order if it is paid via a business bank account or business debit or credit card, or a company address, or purchase order number has been provided.

There are some limitations which apply to your rights of withdrawal, they are,
You are responsible for the care of the product including any packaging, accessories, manuals, or other items included with your order. If required I.T. Revamp can arrange collection using our courier. The charge is €9.95 for shipping and handling of the returned item(s).

There are also certain exclusions to the Right of Withdrawal. Items which have been built to order or are otherwise personalised are not covered under the cooling off period. Also, items which have been used, damaged, or are incomplete may be refused a refund in entirety, or we may credit a reduced amount. You may inspect an item to determine its suitability, but you cannot use the item. Any action which will render a product ‘used’ will void your right of withdrawal. Be aware that the right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers, so please create a personal account when you wish to order for personal use and qualify for the Right of Withdrawal.

What if I need to return a product?

You can return a product to I.T. Revamp:

  • Under the Right of Withdrawal (Cooling Off period)
  • When a product is Defective/Dead on Arrival, DOA.
  • To be repaired or replaced within the warranty period.
  • When I.T. Revamp has delivered the wrong product.

When we receive your completed form, if required I.T. Revamp can arrange collection using our courier. The charge is €9.95 for shipping and handling of the returned item(s) or in the case of a defective product we may try to assist you with troubleshooting the issue. Our service staff are available from 09:00 – 18:00 Monday – Friday.
Before returning your product to I.T. Revamp please remove any passwords, pin codes, and perform a full system backup as the product may be reset back to factory settings. I.T. Revamp are not liable for any data on your system. All products returned under the Right of Withdrawal or Defective on Arrival must be in their original box with all the documentation and accessories. If not a repacking fee of 10% of the product cost may be deducted from the refund amount.

If the product is damaged on arrival, please follow the above steps, and complete the returns form with the details of the damage and at least two photographs, clearly showing the damaged product, the box the product was delivered in, and any damage that is on the box.

Faulty or miss-described products.

In the case of faulty or miss-described goods, you must return the goods as required, we may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods. All original items delivered must be returned with the refund request. This includes but is not limited to welcome packs, software discs, cables, digital download codes such as games, chassis accessories and peripherals.

Preparing a product for collection

If you are returning a product under the cooling off period of 14 days or was damaged / dead on arrival, the product must be returned as it was shipped, in its original packaging and including all supplied accessories. Any accounts or passwords you may have setup on the device must be removed before sending it back. We are not responsible for any data loss, please backup any data stored on your device.

If you need to return a product, please follow these recommendations:

  • Remove any accounts, passwords, and pin codes from your device, if you can perform a factory software reset that would be preferred. If our technicians are unable to access the device, it may be shipped back to you. Where possible we will try to contact you through e-mail to get your written permission to perform a full factory reset, if this is not possible your device will be returned to you to remove your personal information.
  • Pack the product securely using proper packaging materials, original shipping box and packaging would be preferred.
  • Please make sure that the shipping box is properly packaged with protective packaging to minimize the chance of damage being caused during transit. The state of the product when received by I.T. Revamp is your own responsibility.
  • Please don’t send multiple products in one box, unless it is the original shipping box, as this can cause damage with the products damaging each other.
  • If you are sending a product for repair, we do not require you to send any accessories which it may have come with. The only exceptions are power supplies.
  • Any computer components or products which are sensitive to electrostatic must be packaged in and anti-static package to be eligible for warranty coverage. The product would have been in the proper packaging when you received it, as such we would recommend keeping the original packaging.
  • Always remember to include a copy of the RMA documentation in the box, and that the return address label is attached and visible on the outside of the box.

 

What is the cost of returning a product to I.T. Revamp?

If the product is covered under our 7-day damaged / dead on arrival period or is under a manufacturer’s warranty, there is no charge to return the product. If it is found that the product is not covered by warranty, for example the fault was caused by user damage, you will be billed for shipping and handling charges, of €9.95.

If you are returning the product under the 14 day Right of Withdrawal (Cooling off period), or the product is outside of manufacturer’s warranty there is a charge of €9.95 for shipping and handling.

What happens after my product is collected?

After your product has been collected, we will receive it in our returns processing centre within 3 – 5 working days. Our technicians will test your product to verify the reported fault and asses what was the possible cause. We will then decide the appropriate action to proceed, taking into account the manufacturer’s own guidelines, repair the item or offer you a choice of a replacement product or refund.

Only if the product cannot be repaired, we will offer you a replacement product or refund. If the product has been returned under the right of withdrawal cooling period, we will ensure that all conditions are met before we can issue a refund. The usual processing time is between 1 – 2 weeks, less if possible. The time required for repairs will depend on manufactures and parts availability.

Claiming Warranty

All products supplied by I.T. Revamp are covered by the manufacturer’s warranties. This means that you are entitled to the warranty which is offered by the manufacture. The warranty offered is specific to each individual product.

Our policy on replacement products

We stock a wide range of products and as such it is not always possible to offer a replacement product, due to stock availability. We will try to repair the product and where this fails, we will offer you an identical product, similar or superior product. Our service staff are available between 09:00 – 18:00, Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays. You can if you wish request a refund to our returns department, and depending on the age of the product we will refund the day value of the product.

For a product to qualify for a warranty claim it must have been used in the normal was, as explained in the products warranty leaflet. There is limited warranty on consumables such as batteries and cartridges.

In the following cases warranty is void:

  1. When damage or defects have been intentionally caused or are a result of gross negligence.
  2. When damage or defects have been caused by incorrect or improper use of a product.
  3. When maintenance of a product has not been carried out in a timely manner or the maintenance has been carried out improperly.
  4. When a product is used outside of personal use.
  5. When a product has been exposed to humidity, extreme heat, cold, or drought.
  6. When overheating has been caused due to exposing the product to heat sources.
  7. When repairs have been carried out ether by you or a third party without first receiving the express written permission from I.T. Revamp.
  8. In the case of external causes such as fire, lightning, water, fall and impact damage.
  9. When the defect has been caused by a virus, illegal software, or after improper installation of hardware or software.

 

You have the right to return the defective product directly to the manufacturer without any intervention from I.T. Revamp.

We do allow you to open your case and install your own components without voiding your warranty under the following conditions:

  • If the actions of the person installing the components cause damage to your computer, your warranty will be void.
  • If the components installed are not purchased from us and they cause problems with your computer, your warranty will be void.
  • If the components installed are not purchased from us then we will only provide support under our remote support service, which will incur an additional charge. We will provide support on any component you have purchased through us.

 

How long does it take for a product to be repaired?

All repairs carried out by the manufacturer will vary greatly. In most situations it can take up to 3 – 4 weeks to complete, replacement products will be dispatched within 7 days of collection.

In line with Irish consumer law, there is an upper limit of six weeks for RMA (Return Material Authorisation) processing, from collection. Should your RMA take longer you will be entitled to request a refund at the day value or a replacement product of similar specifications.

What are the costs associated with a repair?

Any product returned for repair will be subject to certain costs. When you submit your returns form you will be informed if your product is outside of warranty. If your product is outside of warranty, then you are liable for the following costs.

Diagnostic fees.

When your product is outside of warranty you will be liable for diagnostic fees, these are €30 and must be paid before the product is returned to you. If we are unable to repair the product you will only be liable for the shipping and handling costs of €9.95.

Shipping and handling costs.

When your product is outside of warranty you will be liable for shipping and handling costs. These do vary depending on the type of product.

Repair Fees.

In addition to the diagnostic fees, you will also be liable for the cost of repairs. An estimate will be provided for your approval via e-mail. We will only proceed with the repair when we have received your reply via return e-mail. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, you will still be liable for the diagnostic fee and any shipping and handling costs.

The repair process.

When you return a product to us it may take up to 3 – 4 working days for us to receive it. When we receive your product, you will be informed of receipt via e-mail. The average time of repair is 5 working days, but please be aware this is dependent on part availability.
